Catching Up

      It's been a busy few first weeks of school for me, I've had to get some personal things done first, which resulted in me being some days behind on schoolwork. I am also getting through a sickness at the moment, and I have needed plenty of rest through this, so I'm not exactly on schedule. However, I am determined to catch up with school.      This time around, the delivery is for us to make a coffee table. It is a fun and challenging task and today I have done some writing and also started on the drawing for the top of the assembly of the coffee table. Next will be to draw the two other parts, the screw, and then annotate the table, setting dimensions like the length of the legs, diameter of the circle that makes up the top part, etc... Lastly I will need to write the report and then double check everything, so that things are in order for the delivery to be approved.      I am learning to write as I make this blog as well, so please ba...

A few weeks in

      It's now been about 3 and a half weeks since I started my studies at Noroff Digital Prototyping, I've had some setbacks which, quoting Les Brown, I see as a setup for a comeback. It's Thursday 10th of November at the day of writing this, and I'm now starting my most recent week in school. Not to worry, I did get an extension, however now I need to work hard to catch up, considering I'm doing a full-time study.     Yesterday I delivered my first module assignment. It was a great experience to get through this assignment. I've learned to use more of the AutoCAD tools, I've gotten more into the habit of writing the report, in addition we started reading in our curriculum books. The assignment was for us to make a drawing for 3 different views of a stove.       Hi there!  My name is Magnus, and I love 3D printing and 3D design. I am currently studying Digital Prototyping at Noroff in Norway. I am very excited to share my experiences and insights with you on this blog.     Noroff is a leading institute of technology and digital media in Norway, and the Digital Prototyping program is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of digital prototyping.
